Please, I would like to know the various income tax brackets and the amount of income applicable to the various brackets showing the percentages of tax at each bracket. Thank you.

This is 1999 (I don't know the 2000 brackets or if they are different but this will be pretty close)

You'll find the year 2000 tax rate schedules in the instructions for Form 1040-ES, which you can download from http://www.irs.gov/forms_pubs/index.html. Make sure you get the year 2000 version.
