Feeling is that AMR shareholders that are now receiving their spun off shares are selling big time. (or more accurately sellers are far outnumbering buyers right now because of the spin-off)

Core investors of AMR who now see these spun-off TSG shares in their accounts may be selling because they did not really choose to buy the shares. This is short-sighted IMHO because it appears TSG has a bright future ahead. (I'm sure AT&T shareholders who have held Lucent have been (for the most part) happy with that choice)

I would still expect some short term downward pressure over the next week or so then things should stabilize.

We'll see.

Stay Foolish all...
