This seems like a great idea for a board.I started (umpteen years ago) transcribing the stories my grandmother told. She could recite the lines back seven generations. Then I figured out how to record the names and descent lines (pre-computer still) into a three ring binder. Now I have acquired a copy of the Hathway Family Association book (huge amount of work done on Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and I'm listed in the book in my generation), a couple other publications.I've studied typed autobiogaphies and letters from the 1830's.Finally, I'm ready to start on an actual quest: verifying the story of Hannah's quilt (she grew up in New York, and was married in Ohio in 1821). this will be my first research, I need to pin done some places and dates. Glad you folks are here to encourage me.yeilBHathway, Goodell, Talbot, Kreuger, Sakarias - these are interesting onesFuller (well, yes, the Mayflower ones)
