Fellow Fools,

A big investment house downgraded E.piphany's stock today from buy to outperform. This was the reason for the big drop.

Why not look at Broadbase. They don't rely on months of consulting to custom configure their products. Do the homework and look at the amount of consulting each vendor requires to implement what is basically the same solution.

Regarding Epiphany, you may also want to look at the acquisition of Octane ($3 billion+) Compare that to Broadbase's acquisition of Servicesoft (a far better competitive technology with 4x as many customers. ($680 million). Which company is better run? Which has stronger partnerships with complimentary software vendors? (BVSN, ARTG, BEAS, ARBA, NT, HP)

Do the homework and Fool on!
