If you wouldn't mind, could you share what you learn from the conference call or chat with IR?
I read the entire 2002 annual report this evening and most of the recent news. My view is that this is an overreaction to managements overly optimistic uncollectible accounts assumptions. Even if net charge-offs far exceed 17.3% in 2002 and 18.4% for 2001 I don't think the current p/e and p/b ratios are justifiable in relation to the rest of the market.
For now I don't know enough to make a commitment. The whole credit suspension has me wondering. The research was educational though.
