(market cap $3.05B)

INTRO Here's my semi-annual exercise to see if I remember why I own the stocks I own. I post it in case it helps others too.

F5 is an investment that has treated me well, and I don't think it is done yet. Their traffic management and security packages are gaining market share and becoming better known. I'd like to know if they are being incorporated into the server farms being built by Microsoft, Google, and such.

The stock is also becoming more well known, though not too popular yet. One measure is the lack of traffic to the FFIV discussion boards. It seems to me that the stock price will increase when the demand for the stock increases. The price has done well recently so I can see why it wouldn't pop, and yet, a bit more public awareness might translate into a nice stock move.

It looks like the options issue will get resolved without undo fanfare. I hope the management team remains intact, but these SEC issues might make some folks go home.

I will continue to HOLD, because it is my largest holding and might sell if I need the cash.

DISCLAIMER LTBH since 2000 and I might have to sell to pay some bills. Rats, because I think it is going up.
