I own shares in FNF, which is spinning off a subsidiary--shareholders receive .175 share of the sub for each FNF share sometime in October. I understand this is part of an effort by the CEO/major shareholder to increase value. The sub intends to pay $1 per share in dividends annually, so that should help establish a value for its stock.

I've read the 8K and the most recent 10Q and cannot assess the import of this transaction to shareholders. The S-1 is not yet final. Should I sell now, wait for the spin-off, or buy more stock in anticiaption?

Any real information would be most appreciated!
