Many moons ago I wrote about the lack of choices that my company offers for investing our 401k.
We have PWebber - - -
A few wrote letters
A few made phone calls
One started a employee petition (which met with lukewarm success...)
An index fund is offered!

No, not our 1st (and only choice) Vangard,
instead we got a PWebber Index Fund.

Better than our mutual fund choices (I hope).

Although I doubt that many will sign up for the index. We had meetings the last few days with a rep fro PW - who tried in earnest to discourage any from contributing to it. He said it's now another choice we have, but one we should definitely stay away from. He said like other 'fads', this will fade and something else will take it's place.....
