I recieved a notice from TDAmeritrade that Radian Group wants to pay $100,000,000 to buy back all bonds issued under Cusip 750236AH4. They are ding this via a modified Dutch Auction and asking bond holders to surrender their bonds for not greater than $860 or less than $780 each.

I'm reluctant to surrender the five bonds I hold for less than face (due Feb. 15,2013) as Radian has not missed any interest payment (5.625%)to date. But the bond has gone from Investment to Junk in the time that I've held it.

Any advice as to accepting the offer would be appreciated.

I'd also like to know how I can find out the total amount of this bond that is still outstanding if possible.

Thanks for any (kindly) help,

Craig
