Thanks for any and all input. What is a good choice for a bond investment for a 50 year old who will retire in ten years. Being a fool.com fan I have a handle on stocks, but have not paid much attention to bonds. A bond index type fund?? Treasury?? Is my Roth an OK place to put this? Thanks.

Im sure the fine Fools on this board are knowledgeable enough to help you out, but if interested...check out the bonds and fixed income investments board. http://boards.fool.com/Messages.asp?bid=100135
