First, I'd say get the domain name first, if you can. That one's probably more likely to be time-sensitive, and it will probably be simpler to set up the hosting account with the domain already owned (rather than providing them the domain later).Second, while it might be more convenient to have the same provider for the domain and the hosting, I don't like them having that much control. If you have a problem on one side, they can hold the other side hostage. It's not very likely, but if you need to move one of the services later, you don't have to worry about the other service.dsbrady
