Hello all!

Great, a new board to fill up!

As a good first topic for a general book discussion board, I thought the following question would be fun to answer.

Imagine that one of your friends with no investing experience comes by and asks you what investing book to read first. What book would you recommend?

Personally, I'd have them pick up a copy of _The Richest Man in Babylon_. It doesn't go into specifics about today's environment and it really gives a neophyte investor a great overview of what investing is for and how to manage money.

Anyone else read that classic?
