First, they are telling me you can NOT place a limit order that is good for more than one day. So you have to keep logging in day after day to enter new orders. What a hassle that is.

Well, IBKR lives up to their 'excellent' (cough) customer service.

this statement above is false from my own personal experience (at least using their traders workstation application).

Not sure about order routing for bond markets, but I don't ever recall having to select a market, so I was under the impression (perhaps mistakenly) that they used a SMART order routing for bonds (similar to stocks).

I don't think I have some special account... but maybe that's it.
