This morning The Robert Mondavi Corporation announced results for its second quarter of fiscal 2000 ended December 31, 1999.

Pro forma net income for the quarter increased 29 percent to $13.1 million, or $0.82 per diluted share, from $10.1 million, or $0.64 per diluted share, a year ago. Net revenues for the quarter increased 16 percent over the same period last year to $122.2 million, driven by a 17 percent increase in sales volume. (Pro forma net income excludes a net gain related primarily to the sale of vineyards this quarter and reorganization and other one-time charges last fiscal year).
