I inherited a fixed annuity that really needs to be moved out of its current situation. I have been advised to do a 1035 exchange to a variable annuity to avoid taking the tax penalty. I am under the age of 30 and would like to know if this is really the best option for the investment.
I have read all of the information under the annuity section and am concerned about making the right move.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
