I think it is the market....

I do not know any families that buy their products... (Twinkies, Wonder bread, etc..) Most of the folks I know regard them as unhealthy and do not want to expose their kids to them...

Back many years ago when I was in grade school I remember having a hostess product in my lunch box every day... My wife remembers the same thing...

However, we wound never dream of even having any of their products in our house let alone in our kids lunch. Today we -- and the families we know -- are all about organic, natural foods over processed, whole grains, gluten free, low fat, vitamin rich, etc...

Heck, the last time I tried a hostess product as an adult I could not even eat the whole thing.... It's taste and texture were both disgusting..."

Yeah..that's why they had 2.3 billion dollars a year in sales. No one bought any of them.
