Hello all,Fool Contests Community - (2/7/2002)Most of my posts are short and sweet. This one will be the same.Just about a year ago, I saved this link to the LBYM (Living Below Your Means) board.http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=14533795It is a tremendous essay by WonderPup about online communities. Here is a person who at age 30 has 24 years of online experience. WOW.At the end he writes a few simple lessons, such as….* No matter what group you are in, someone will always make you mad.* No matter what group you are in, you will always make someone else mad.* Being online shouldn't be any different than real life.* That said, it *is* different than real life, so get used to it.…….plus many more pearls of online wisdom. However, he saves the best wine for last. He writes, “But, the key thing I have found in all my online experiences is ….” Hopefully you will read the ending to this verywise post.
