Hello all,

Fool Contests Community - (2/7/2002)

Most of my posts are short and sweet. This one will be the same.

Just about a year ago, I saved this link to the LBYM (Living Below Your Means) board.

It is a tremendous essay by WonderPup about online communities. Here is a person who at age 30 has 24 years of online experience. WOW.

At the end he writes a few simple lessons, such as….

* No matter what group you are in, someone will always make you mad.
* No matter what group you are in, you will always make someone else mad.
* Being online shouldn't be any different than real life.
* That said, it *is* different than real life, so get used to it.

…….plus many more pearls of online wisdom.

However, he saves the best wine for last. He writes, “But, the key thing I have found in all my online experiences is ….” Hopefully you will read the ending to this very
wise post.
