For me I gave up on this stock when I saw the 60 Minutes piece which talk about the founder and his long history of trouble with the law. There are so many great companies to choose from why take a change with someone who might both behave ethically? And the patent losses is also worrisome.

One other thing that is hard to miss is the terrible reviews for the machines, over and over on Amazon you see huge number of 1 ratings on machines because they break so easily.

I would love to see Samsung or one of the German manufactures come out with a QUALITY machine. Maybe that is what Starbucks is planning, upgrade the experience. I think the need is there for offices and home use. No thinking, no mess single serve. But it needs to be with long lasting machines, with secure patents and ethical management.
