For myself, I wouldn't bother having a TV if I didn't have either cable or satellite. OTA is an absolute crapfest.
===========
It all depends on what you want to watch. We actually watch no more than half a dozen shows a week of broadcast TV; what's important to us is movies. My mother in law has satellite with hundreds of channels, and they look to me like the very same crapfest as OTA, only more of it.

i recall some wag in the early days of internet saying something like, <broadcast TV is 20 channels and 17 are crap; cable TV is 500 channels, 450 are crap ..with the internet we'll have 30 million websites and 28.3 million will be crap>

.... 'websites' should have been 'blogs'?
