For some reason I have been reaaalllly fidgety for the last week or two. I know that depression tends to make people sleepy and want to stay in bed, but lately I have been nearly hyperactive, but at the same time wanting to cry over little things, similar to depression.

Niki, reading your post made me (even more) depressed... I'm not kidding. I bolded the above comment you made above, as this is one of the most SIGNIFICANT and DANGEROUS myths about what the symptoms of depression are. In brief, one of the possible symptoms of depression include significant changes of one's NORMAL routines, such as in the sleeping or agitation area. For example: sleeping TOO much, or sleeping TOO little (or having erratic sleep problems). More examples: having more sluggish behavior or being more agitated. Having wide changes in social behavior, such as being more withdrawn or becoming unusually social.
