Hello Ford fools,
I recieved this news bulletin at work. I thought you would be intersted.
The United States Postal Service has awarded Ford Motor Company a contract for 500 electric vehicles. Two prototypes are being tested at Engineering in Merrifield, Virginia. The vehicle is set on a Ford Ranger chassis with a Grumman LLV body. The vehicle has more acceleration with a range of 50 mph and a top speed of 60 mph.
What does that mean to the USPS ? As an organization, the USPS demonstrates a commitment to a cleaner environment while developing an alternative fuel source. Fool on! Slimmy
