So I misjudged a curb on Thursday, and now have a fracture of the scaphoid bone in my left wrist and a wrist brace. I'll be calling the hand specialist on Monday for an appointment, but would be interested in any nutritional advice to aid healing in the meantime.

My first reaction to the fall was "oh crap" although that wasn't the word I used. My second was "I hope nobody saw that." What hurts the most is the skinned knee.

Fortunately, it's my non-dominant hand, so I'm not as incapacitated as I could be.

Thanks.
