I started reading the Motley Fool web pages early this year and they convinced me that I need to first get out of debt, create a savings account and then begin investing slowly. Well, by golly, step one is officially DONE - I mailed my last payment off to my last credit card company. It took me eight months to pay off two of them ($2,000) and a remaining couple of months to pay off the last one ($500). I curbed my spending, worked at night to make extra money, and stopped CHARGING completely. I feel good, dananana! I have a plan in place to begin an interest bearing savings account and will start seriously researching investing info to begin hopefully in 6-8 months! Thanks Fool, for helping me on the road to success!
