I read with interest on my new United frequent flyer brochure that the maximum number of miles one can earn with Mileage Plus is 50,000 a year.

That will get someone a free trip to Aruba, but...

There once was a time when you got unlimited mile-per-dollar frequent flyer mileage for using the right card. Then Eli Broad bought a painting for $5,000,000 on the right card and got, apparently, 100 free trips to Aruba. (He did not take Tony, as I recall). So now: "Note The miximum number of miles you can ear with the Mileage Plus First Card..."

Anyone know of any Airline/credit cards still offering unlimited mile-per-dollar mileage?
