Citadel Broadcasting Corp.'s chief financial officer, Robert G. Freedline, is resigning at the end of the month, the radio broadcaster said Monday.

Freedline, who joined the company in May 2006, is leaving to "pursue other career opportunities," the company said.

Randy L. Taylor, currently vice president of finance and principal accounting officer, was named acting CFO and senior vice president.
