Does anyone know why there was such wild fluctuation in Chinese ADRS on Friday, in both directions? At least six were up about 10% or more and at least six were down by the same amount. Specifics: ADRS with large percentage gains: CHOP, 33%; FENG, 18%; ASIA, 15.5%, DANG, 14%, CIS, 12%, MY, 9.5%. ADRS with large percentage losses: ATAI, 26%, CHRM, 23%, GAGA, 15.75%, LAS, 14.75%, XNY, 13.75%, ZX, 11.25%. Was there any rhyme or reason to all these will counter-balancing swings? I can't find any significant news Thursday or Friday about any of these twelve stocks.
