This is the same bullsh*t I've been putting up with from Providian since I applied more than 5 years ago. Good luck getting them to go away. They keep reopening my account and I keep chewing them out.

BTW: They did the same bait-and-switch tactic with me too. They claimed they had approved it based on my monthly salary information as annual. Funny thing is, I sent in a written application and it was clearly marked as a monthly, net amount. When I bitched about a $500 credit line, they sent me a Platinum account; but when I read the harsh terms, I called them back and told them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

But as I said, they keep re-opening the account... There should be some kind of law about this. Providian needs a big, fat lawsuit.
