That is a nice marketing piece for RE professionals. But I think a more interesting and appropriate study would be a comparison of the selling price of similiar homes (size/location/age/quality/etc) sold by agents versus those sold FSBO.

On a pure average basis, too many factors could lead to this $25k result, having nothing to do with the skill or value of an agent. In general, highly priced homes are typically sold through agents. Whether the agent is valuable or not, this alone could lead to this average $25k result.
