From my stance as an Accounting student and a mortgagee, I'm sorry to say that your financial structure here does not make sence. The details of your proportions depend on your circumstances, but continue to make payments while you build up an emergency stash of cash. The pay what you feel that you can each month. Maintain the stash of cash for the rest of your life.
