from Warrl's article, Viewing Angle
"LCD should be avoided if you will be viewing from an off center angle, as images will tend to become washed, especially if viewed from extreme angles."

My wife sits off center about 4 feet from the screen. Maybe I should avoid an LCD set? From the article I think a 42" screen would be about right for our living room. That's good to know. They are significantly cheaper than the 47" screens so that's a bonus too. I may be getting a big flat screen sooner than I thought!

Maybe for Christmas this year I'll buy us a big fancy new TV. I'll have to figure out what to do with our old TV? Maybe switch it out with the little TV we have in our guest room?
