Okay, so I got my new update in the mail a couple of weeks ago ... like everyone else I would assume. So today I put it in, and it did its thing. Then I took the CD-Rom out and went to take care of some "Honey-Do's".Now I come back, and am wanting to look at some sector charts. The first one I pull up ... I get an error message saying that the historical data CD-Rom must be in the hard drive. OR, if I want to just save it all to the hard-drive list (and be CD-Rom free)then just save it to that chart list. (Which is exactly what I did last time, and was CD-Rom free until now)I have tried it about 10 times. I have restarted my computer a couple of times, just flat out closed the program and re-opened it .... yadda, yadda, yadda ... I was real tired the next morning. (that was for the seinfeld fans in the bunch)OK, back to the meat. I want every stinking symbol available on my hard-drive, so I dont have to deal with the waiting of the CD-Rom ... and also so I can listen to music if'n I wanna. So, tell me if I am doing this wrong.First, Take the watch-list all the way to the top, "All items in system"Second, Click "Watchlist" at the very top ... scroll down to "Copy to other list" ... and arrow over and down to "All symbols in watchlist"Third, after clicking that, a pop-up window opens up for "Please check the destination chartlist".Fourth, scroll down to "HARD DRIVE CHARTS" and double click it. (or click once and then click ok)That should be the end of it. Now every symbol should be on my hard drive ... after it updates them. Well, it did not update them all, but that did not surprise me since I just updated them all a couple of days ago before installing this new CD.Can someone tell me what the heck I am doing wrong???Do you have to resave everything into your hard-drive charts each time you get a new CD-Rom?Frustrated in Oregon.
