So, as one might guess, my kid has a lot of books. They're everywhere. We buy them at resale stores, garage sales. My mom was a library trustee and sent boxcars full of books to all of us. We've even spent money at those hideously expensive school book fairs. So, it is anyone's guess where this book came from but I suspect it was in fact, a Scholastic book fair event.http://www.amazon.com/How-Dinosaurs-Eat-Their-Food/dp/043924...How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? by Jane Yolen and illustrated by Mark Teague. If you look at it you can see why it was a favorite. The art is vibrant, the rhymes are interesting, the dino names are included in every image, but not in a way that distracts from the "story". I don't know how it wound up in the (ahem) library again but there it was and I flipped through it the other day.I wish the Amazon preview dealio had the page I want you to see, but alas, it does not. Here's a link to a tinypic image.http://i54.tinypic.com/142enhd.jpgLook! FSM! Right there, being his benevolent self, touching children with his noodly appendage via the printed page.
