When ask by The Fool to voice an opinion re: retirement investing, I'm drawn to an area that I believe will yield huge upside potential well within this current decade; fuel cell technology. With the global initatives already on course to be implemented to reduce the impact of fossil fuel use by as early as 2007, the clock has already started, and it's marching fast. I am on the verge of retiring, I've actually already retired from a company I was with for 28 years, and am just beginning to research this area of potential investment. I am optimistic that the upside is substantial. The need to continue to outperform the market in retirement is high in my opinion, as the chances for status quo on inflation and staying in the game while treading water are slim and non, so it is important to find those niches that are uniquely positioned to outperform. I feel fuel cell tech is in that camp. More to follow. Quikloan
