[Fuel cells]...makes more sense than a battery powered electric vehicle to me, yesIndeed. I think that will be the final solution (or long term, anyway), Count me in that camp as well. And one benefit of the existing work in hybrids and all-electric is that much of the research will not be wasted. The biggest difference between a fuel-cell car and an electric (or hybrid) one is the lack of a storage battery. All of the electric motor and control development will pretty much just slide right in to a fuel cell car. You just get the electric power from a fuel cell rather than a battery.--Peter
