Tonight my son's Tiger Cub den went to our local community TV station for a Go-See-It. Well, three of them did, but that's 60% (or so) of the den so not terrible. We knew one boy wouldn't be there but u was expecting the other, though the den leader said that there was some indication that he was quitting Cub Scouts. Bummer if true!

Anyhow, the boys will be on TV tomorrow afternoon. I will miss it (it's at 16:05, I get out of work at 16:00 and my wife will have the car so I'll be waiting for her to come get me) but they will be posting it online and replaying it so I'll catch it then.

The den leader will be out if town next week so it looks like I'm running the den meeting again. Cool! We'll have fun. I've been watching a lot of Numberphile and SingingBanana on YouTube, I may try to slip in some math education before they realize what hit them! Get them thinking math is cool before someone tells them differently ;-)

It my bit be too difficult, the highlight if the night was when the staff handed out calculators with the station logo. Man, you'd have thought they gave them video games! Some neat number tricks might keep them occupied for a surprisingly long time.
