Further more I think Goodyear is the # 1 tire maker in the world, the stock should be in the 50's

Perhaps, you can buy a bunch of shares for 55 and set the "right price" for everybody. I think it should be exactly what it is. Are you sure enough to be stockpiling it in the teens? Buffet's preverbial Cheeseburgers are on sale..... are you buying?

Stocks (and everything else for that matter) should be priced at a level upon which buyers and sellers agree to make sales transactions.

You may be right on its return with a vengence. But, then again, the history of the American economy is filled with juggernauts that just became something that wasn't what they used to be: Sear and Roebuck, Safeway, Standard Oil, A&P, Woolworth, Montgomery Wards, Maytag..... well you get the idea.

I'm in a wait and see for a while mode with Goodyear. They have a great name brand, a storied history, and some recent success that looks optimistic. But, they also have a tough climate that they are not through dealing with yet....... oh yes and major league accounting scandals the investors remember quite well.
