Furthermore she did not believe cholesterol was a problem. High cholesterol is a symptom of a problem, not the cause. The cause was inflammation in the blood vessels. The author discusses cholesterol quite a bit in her GAPS book, but she has written another book called "Put your heart in your mouth". It is a fairly short and readable book. It is in agreement with what you wrote above (the bit in bold) but goes on to recommend a diet and other lifestyle changes which she claims will address the inflamation.StevnFool
