If this was my 401k, and I did not have additional retirement investment accounts over which to rebalance a larger portfolio, I would probably be attracted most to DODBX, VINIX, RERFX and PGEYX. Being only 29, I would allocate my 401k contributions so that the bond content of my funds amounted to about 10% of my total, and my international allocation was about 20%.

Thank you for the nice overview of each fund. Some of those statistics I had looked up on Morningstar but had not really examined the management duration in close detail.

I think I am going to adjust my perecentages to include some of the international fund. Thus far I have just been following the "set it and forget it" approach as I was sending all of my SIMPLE-IRA contributions and Roth into Vanguards Total Stock Market. But I do like the idea of expanding my horizons a little bit.
