Thank you for starting this board, your timing couldn't be better!

I have DS who is a high school sophomore and DD who is a high school freshman.

I've been saving money since they were born in anticipation of meeting college expenses, but am disappointed that neither child shows much interest in thinking about life after high school. Have bought a couple of books on how to choose a college but they are sitting on the shelf gathering dust, the only one who browses them occasionally is me.

Fortunately, we live in CA where both the University and State Colleges are pretty good.

Looking forward to some good discussion.
