You never know just what will get one of us to drop down out of the rafters. : )

One thing to be wary of (and I may do a larger post on this at some point soon,) the differences in regulations between brokers, bankers, and credit unioners has begun to become much more prominent and emphasized...

I for one would love to see a post on this subject. I figure I'll be pulling the trigger on the purchase of my first home either shortly after the first of next year or sooner if I see the 'right' place come on the market. (I'm in no particular hurry, just ready and able and tired of paying rent.)

From my research to date, it appears to me that my credit union is fairly competitive on longer-term ARM's, and cheap on 1/1 ARM's. All other things being equal, my preference would be to give them my business. However, if all other things aren't equal....

Dave, any chance you can change that "may do a post" into a "will do a post?
