Get that TV and get it set up before your surgery. After the surgery you're not going to feel like taking care of such mundane things. I speak from experience.

I don't mean right after surgery - I mean well after surgery/recovery. My current company doesn't have short-term disability, so I don't want to spend the money now since I've been specifically saving in a separate account for co-pays and lost income because if I don't have to I don't want to tap my "e-fund" for an upcoming "known" expense.
