I've been plugging numbers into Excel trying to get a better idea of how much I'm
currently saving and where I need to be when I'd like to retire. My 'target' age right
now is 50 (23 years) but that could change, just like everything else I have so far. It
certainly seems workable. I was wondering what everyone else thought, based
on the data I have at the momment, and anything I might have missed.

ESPP is the stock purchase plan, and when shares become eligable the money will
be transferred into an index fund. PPA is a pension plan, low rate (currently) but is
in addition to my paycheck, not out of. TIAA is my (to be) wife's savings plan with her
school, unfortunately 403b's are not available. Any suggestions welcome - there is
additional money in the budget, but we need to build up our emergency fund first,
due to the recent home purchase.

All $'s were calculated using excel's FV() - I have not taken taxes into account.
