Thrashers coach Bob Hartley decided to shuffle the lines after being outscored 22-2 over the last 4 games. Hartley paired Hossa and Kovalchuk with Patrik Stafan in center on the first line. Petrovicky and Savard joined Peter Bondra on the second line. Bobby Holik centered Kozlov and Scott Mellanby on the third line.

The result? The Thrashers scored thrice in the 3rd period to win the game 4-3, giving Adam Berkhoel his first career NHL win and leading to the second give-away of a 1 year lease on a Volvo S40. After GM Don Waddell left Thursday night's game 5 minutes into the first period in disgust, Hartley convened practice Friday morning at 7am and did not let the players off the ice until 12:30pm.

Who is not ready to say the Thrashers have turned the corner, but Halloween is not as scary as it appeared before Saturday night's game...
