My husband had invested practically all of each of our IRA's and his 401K into 4
annuities ( two in his name and two in my name) after his retirement in 1995. We are not
recieving any income from them as of yet. They have not done exceptionally well and
now that he has passed away I am left to make some changes. How would I go about
getting at least some of this money out of annuities and perhaps into index funds or
something that would not cost me an arm and leg to move around? I am new to this and
would appreciate any suggestions from this community.
