I'm sorry if this question has been repeated. I checked several days prior and didn't see any similar questions on this subject. But I ask the same thing at the start of each new year.

Has the tax law changed the amount that can be gifted (previously $10,000 per person per year)? They keep saying it will be increase according to some index, but it never seems to pass.

If they have changed it, what publication can I obtain to read about it in detail?
