Good for you! What tax software do you use?

We use CCH Prosystem Tax.

Now, on these last minute "hairy" extensions, what I'll sometimes do is download the 2010 actual return data from the tax program into the BNA Prof. Tax Planner, and then update for known or estimated changes (say, we have actual W-2s, but are missing a bunch of K-1s.)

That way we don't have a job with 1/2 actual data and 1/2 estimated data in the actual tax return file.

OR, if we have just about everything except 1 or 2 K-1s that won't arrive until Sept., then we just prepare the return in the 2011 program like always, but use rounded-up numbers for the missing K-1s.
