Good luck trying to implement a change in your companys 401K. Be prepared for a challenge. I have some ideas that are not revolutionary just common sense.
.Educate yourself. You can read for days about 401k plans, laws, and investments.
.Try to find allies, surely you are not the only person in your company who understands the value of having a S&P 500 indexed fund in your retire- ment portfolio.
.Submit a formal request letter to your plan admin- istrator, make sure to send charts and graphs over- laying your current investment options with S&P index funds performance.
.Be persistant, every time you find some more ammunition, submit it to your plan administrator. Encourage your co-workers to do the same. 5.Check out the 401k site at smartmoney.com
.Good luck and dont give up. Roger
