Good luck with your plan. Do you have particular weaknesses with respect to spending that you will need to be carefull about?

Hi, Seattle Pioneer! Thanks for the good wishes.

The three weaknesses that I've come up with so far:
1. Tendency to purchase more with credit-cards, with justification of cash-back rewards. - See my post previous to this.

2. Poor food planning - I could spend less on food if I planned my menu for the week, if I cooked ahead of time to avoid ordering or dining out.

3. Material gift-giving - I think because I don't spend much time with relatives, I try to compensate by giving birthday and holiday gifts, but I don't even know them enough to know what they want or need. I also help my mom and brother overseas, and I am thinking of asking my mom if I can reduce this amount especially because she has sold some property.

Good question. I'm sure I can come up with more as I think more...
