Hello. I am new to investing and would appreciate it if somebody would give me advice on investing in good companies/mutual funds/index funds/ETFs who produce/mine/invest-in gold, silver, copper and rare earth metals. If you provide to me a suggestion for investment, please also provide the stock symbol and why you think this is a good investment. Thanks!

Vanguard has the Precious Metals and Mining Fund (VGPMX).

This fund is very narrow in scope. It should only be used in an already well-diversified portfolio.
