Good morning joycets!I hope you've been well. I've wanted to come and post miscellaneous discussion and updates, mostly as a check-in.Thank you for the "heads up" to alert people to those boards. The poster who asked for information regarding her sister is certainly more urgent; I don't know if it is still an issue, but it sounds to me to be long term matters. Those are extremely inactive boards, but very useful information. In case others want convenient links to those boards:Living on Disabilityhttp://boards.fool.com/living-on-disability-100162.aspxLiving with Disabilitieshttp://boards.fool.com/living-with-disabilities-112960.aspxEither board is great for all types of information and seem open to any type of questions and concerns. I believe the only probable distinction between the two boards is that the first is mostly focused on issues related to receiving disability benefits (for example, applying for disability, confusion over benefits, any issues about dealing with the system) and the second is about all issues (day-to-day, general, not just administrative benefits) related to disabilities.Lois Carmen D.
